Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager to join our growing Commercial Due Diligence (CDD)- practice in India. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or due diligence, with experience working with private equity clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of commercial due diligence projects for buy-side and sell-side clients
- Develop comprehensive market, competitor, customer, and operational insights to evaluate target companies
- Identify key value drivers, risks, and upside opportunities through primary and secondary research
- Work closely with clients (primarily private equity firms) and their portfolio companies to assess commercial viability and growth potential
- Guide the development of financial models and support revenue forecasting based on market and commercial assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams (financial due diligence, operations, tax, etc.) to deliver integrated insights
- Draft and present impactful reports and client presentations for senior stakeholders
- Manage and mentor junior team members; contribute to training and capability building
- Support business development through proposal creation, pitch presentations, and client engagement
- Actively contribute to thought leadership and knowledge creation initiatives
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, or global equivalents) or other relevant postgraduate degree
- 7-10 years of total experience, with at least 4 years in commercial due diligence, strategy consulting, or transaction advisory
- Experience working with or advising private equity clients is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, research, and business modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with C-level executives
- Team leadership experience with strong project management capabilities
- Sector exposure to industries such as healthcare, consumer, industrials, technology, or business services is a plus
- Willingness to travel for client engagements when required
