The challenge:

Senior Manager to lead Center of Excellence (CoE) and Innovation initiatives at Adobe Customer Solutions (ACS), Bengaluru, India. As leader of Center of Excellence team, he/she will be responsible for understanding the Adobe Experience Cloud solutions in detail, work with product teams to learn about upcoming new features & functionalities - get hands-on experience quickly and prepare the larger consulting team for client projects on these new areas. 


- The CoE leader is also responsible for building reusable accelerators for product implementation, understand new technology platforms that Adobe is building and manage consulting readiness, build and share best-practices. On the Innovation side, he/she will be responsible to ideate, build new customer experience solutions leveraging Adobe Experience cloud and new technology areas like AR, IoT, Block-chain, AI, etc. to solve real-life customer problems and take the solutions to market. The role requires the leader to be comfortable with communicating and presenting to varied set of audiences like customers, internal/external stakeholders (VPs, CxOs) and team members. The role requires the leader to be comfortable to get hands-on and provide guidance and technical direction to the CoE and Innovation team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead the digital marketing/experience practice team (architects and consultants) for Center of Excellence and Innovation initiatives. Meet billability and project goals for team.

- Build, enable and share best practices of Adobe Experience Cloud products with delivery teams. Engage with Customer, Customer Solutions (Delivery, Sales, Partner), Product Management (global), to identify areas of opportunity and design innovative solutions.

- Research on recent technologies (AR/VR, IoT, Blockchain, AI/ML) and trends to deliver the next-in-class solutions and demos

- Display thought leadership and demo solutions at major events - viz. SUMMIT, Symposium, Partner Events, Customer Events, Roadshows with CxOs.

- Design, build and lead custom solution offerings and design GTM Strategy for innovative solutions.

- Architect technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple customer engagements from definition phase (pre-sales/scoping) through implementation.

- Proficient knowledge in large-scale/web-scale architectures, databases & multi-tier applications

- Excellent executive communication, with ability to present to CxOs and senior leadership Requirements:

- 11+ years of relevant experience in the digital marketing, technology innovation space

- 10+ years of experience in leading teams, 8+ years of experience in development

- Passionate about building unique Customer Experiences with the Adobe Experience Cloud stack leveraging best-in-class technology solutions

- Action and results oriented - operating with a strong sense of urgency and purpose - keeping the customer in mind.

- Lead from the front, take accountability and ownership while earning trust of team and customers alike

- Delegate tasks, motivate team and manage stakeholder priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.

- Should be creative, inquisitive and curious to think around technology options under constraints

Technical Requirements:

- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and solution performance

- Understanding of software engineering tools, principles and methodologies

- Excellent hands-on experience in building on web technologies and frameworks (JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML / CSS / AngularJS / Electron)

- Experience in designing and developing applications on at least one mobile platform (Android/iOS/Windows) - should be able to manage hybrid apps

- Hands-on experience in integrating and consuming REST APIs and/or implementing APIs

- Familiar with security best practices and authentication models

- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server

- Has implementation knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, EC2, RDS, Kinesis and/or Azure stack

- Nice-to-have: Experience with Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Samza, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, or other distributed technologies
