Process Overview/ Process Summary/Purpose of the Department:

Need an effective manager who can lead a team of 70+ people with leader of others reporting into him. Prime job is to manage the trade management workflows at Mumbai site which primarily consist of security set up changes, SSI set up/changes, Trade processing & settlements, Corporate Actions event management etc.

Purpose of Role

Responsible for strategic and operational planning and management of all aspects, including staff, contracts and budgets, for a number of programs, projects and/or departments

Shift Timing

08:00 PM to 05:00 AM

Required Product Expertise

Good capital market experience with expertise in Trade Management, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, knowledge of the Investment management accounting, familiarity of Mutual Funds and Fixed income securities. Preferably should have worked in an AMC, Bank with a Global presence.

JOB ANALYSIS / SUMMARY -

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Handle Operations & Staffing function.

- Establishing and implementing a performance management process for all programs staff. Carrying out annual employee performance evaluations: addressing performance concerns in a timely manner

3. Handle Reporting & MIS & update the Sr. Manager/Vertical Head

- Ensuring proper documentation of activities, operate within the policies and procedures of the organization & reporting of status on contractual obligation. Undertaking other assignments as required

4. Manage Process Quality

- Ensure timely and effective Data & Research Quality. Create a culture which supports process management, data driven decision making & client satisfaction.

5. Operational Efficiency/ controls and risk management

- Overseeing operations/reporting/ client requirements/staff. Assisting Vertical Head on Financial Management, Claims, Contingency Planning etc.

6. Client Management

- Serve as liaisons between a company and its clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.

7. People Management

- Ensuring employees are informed of course plans and changes in a timely manner through staff meeting and notices, memos, etc. In consultation with the Vertical Head, recruiting, interviewing, selecting and maintaining well-qualified staff.

JOB SPECIFICATION -

Required Educational Attainments (Degrees, Certificates etc)

1. Graduate, preferably with a strong background of Financial stream.

2. MBA (Preferable).

3. At least 6+ years of Managerial Experience (Span: 70+).

4. Good capital market experience, knowledge of the Investment management operations, familiarity of Mutual Funds, Derivatives & Fixed Income Securities. Preferably should have worked in an AMC, Bank with a Global presence.

Required Skill Sets (Technical/Behavioral/Tools)

1. Good capital market experience, knowledge of the Investment management operations, familiarity of Mutual Funds, Derivatives & Fixed Income Securities. Preferably should have worked in an AMC, Bank with a Global presence.

2. Overall experience of 10 + years with 6+ years in a leadership role with proven ability to lead, self-motivated and engage a diverse and large work force.

3. Experience from a similar position in a KPO entity

4. Strong change management skills, envisioning and overcoming obstacles with out of the box thinking

5. Proven strong communication skills ensuring clear, direct and appropriate communication at multiple organizational levels.

6. Visionary, innovative and dynamic.

7. Highly result oriented, ready to take challenges and able to work under pressure.

8. High analytical / problem-solving skills
