Job Profile -
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the customer and bring in relevant product at the appropriate price points.
- Build, identify and expand 3rd party vendor base to meet strategic objectives and strengthen on site assortment. You are analytical and data driven in matters of assortment planning, pricing and mark down strategies, open to buy budgets, in stock rates and sell through velocities.
- Solve problems and work externally and cross functionally to deal with issues as they arise.
- Negotiate favorable terms, and ensure steady flow of goods to meet growth in customer demand.
- Liaison with the logistics, distribution and commercial departments to ensure that goods arrive on time and are sent back to vendors on time.
- Lead a team to achieve sales targets by bringing to brand relevant, high quality merchandise that is available locally and in select international markets.
