Senior Manager, Business HR Global Sales & Region HR


- The Business HR vertical is the key HR customer-facing function, partnering with business units to enable achievement of business imperatives & goals including financial growth, superior customer experience, driving transformation, developing capabilities, and creating a great place to work, all through people practices.

- The business HR function works closely with other CoEs within HR including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, to bring best-in-class experience to all stakeholders.

- The business unit being supported is the critical customer facing function selling high end managed services & solutions in the areas of digital transformation, Network transformation, Unified Communications, infrastructure & data management through hosted cloud services, digital security and IOT Solutions.

Reports to - Dy. General Manager - Business HR

Purpose of your Role :

- As a Business HR and APAC Region HR, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing HR strategies & plans, policies and processes related to talent acquisition, employee relations, learning & development and talent management, engagement within Sales APAC team and APAC Region. Drive operational efficiencies related to productivity, people policies & practices, employee engagement and Regional HR issues to improve business outcomes. Work towards institutionalizing processes outlined by policies and drive ownership within employee groups.

- The incumbent will also be responsible for providing both strategic and operational HR support in all key areas of HR for the APAC Region and work collaboratively with the Global HR Team. This role is pivotal in supporting regional recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and HR Operations for the APAC region. It requires effective interlock with HR teams, support functions, various business units and external service partners to ensure optimum delivery of programs and services in the region.

- This role is also accountable to consolidate HR knowledge and data to convert them into meaningful HR analytics, improve employee communication and take part in other regional and global HR projects roll out. As we operates on a global basis, this role will provide the incumbent an opportunity to grow into a Global HR role.

While this role will support Sales APAC and APAC region HR, it will be based in Mumbai.

Global Region HR Support :

- To ensure regional flavor and requirements are being met.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Be a consultant & trusted advisor to business leaders using deep knowledge of HR functional areas

- Understanding of business flow and ability to work closely with critical Business Stakeholders

- Ability to learn in a mature but complex organization with varied People Policies & Practices

- Self-sufficient, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.

- Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques

- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognize trends, and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in a fast moving, constantly changing environment

- Ability to quickly build and form close relationships across all levels of the business and thus influence the key decision makers

- Good team player with excellent collaboration skills

- Good planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills.

Education : Post-Graduate in HR / OD is a Must (2-year full-time program preferred)

Work Experience :

- 4+Years post qualification experience in HR, with at-least 3+ years in Business HR role

- Exposure of managing global workforce / handling international market will be an added advantage

- Good working knowledge of employment laws in APAC region specially Singapore and Hong Kong will be an added advantage
