Role Description

- We are looking for someone to drive business development via employer engagement and candidate management in India.

- Reporting to the Vice President - Business Development, this is a role that would suit someone who is passionate about supporting people from diverse backgrounds into employment and able to inspire the same passion in employers. This role involves extensive research, outreach and relationship management.

- You will lead the growth of the business by sourcing employer partners for our bootcamp programmes and account managing these relationships.

- You will be equipped with a portfolio of business development tech tools to facilitate your outreach. Your key focus will be to engage with employers to understand their pain points and determine their business needs, ahead of offering them a solution. Developing long-lasting relationships is the ultimate aim.

- You will also have the opportunity of inspiring unemployed people to achieve life-changing careers - supporting them to connect with employers, prepare for interviews and onboard into new roles.

- Build a pipeline of employers and key contacts - predominantly within the technology sector, but also supporting our other core sectors : healthcare, customer service & Hospitality.

- Identify and reach out to other companies, authorities, CSR groups etc, who may be able to support or promote employer outreach. Organize and run events, meetings and presentations that will inform and inspire prospective employers.

- Account Management & Growth. Secure ongoing commitment from existing employers, in line with targets. Leverage our global and national partnership base, looking for ways to grow relationships across regions.

- Contribute to the ongoing development of employer sourcing, onboarding, and account management processes.

EXPERIENCE

- Strong consultative selling skills with a proven track record of achieving targets. If you have had some experience in building relationships with clients in a recruitment setting this is a bonus, but not essential.

- Senior stakeholder management. The ability to communicate to a broad mix of stakeholders. You will be connecting regularly with heads of departments and exec level contacts.

- External communication. You will regularly connect with employers, diagnose challenges and support them to achieve their hiring goals.

- Exposure to working in a fast-paced startup or entrepreneurial environment, as well as some evidence of having worked independently.
