Senior Manager - Business Development - eCommerce (5-7 yrs)
Client Relations is the primary arm that is responsible for prospecting and acquiring potential clients across various target industries in that region by offering a complete suite of solutions for packaging - Design, Development & Procurement
Key Responsibilities Areas:
- Upscaling the world's best acquisitions team - Provide mentorship and establish a best practice with a lean team that will drive market penetration for thecompany and make it the world's best hunting team
- Industry/Sector Expansion - Establish which new industry sector could be penetrated by thecompany regionally and drive data-driven acquisition strategy including content, positioning, industry research to penetrate into target industry
- Data-Driven Acquisition - In collaboration with the DGM, Client Relations, implement lead generation and client onboarding strategies and drive adoption of internal CRM and tech products to ensure effective tracking
- Optimizing Sales Cycle - Meet potential clients and pitch the product, solicit feedback and alter negotiating strategies based on the feedback with the objective of optimizing the sales cycle and achieving high client onboarding rate
- Profitability - Acquire potential clients profitably and increase gross margin in the medium term
- Value Engineering Projects - Liaison with regional and national cross-functional teams to drive new innovations and value additions for new clients
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of sales experience (MBA from top tier institutes preferred)
- Excellent leadership skills with structured thinking and complex problem-solving ability
- Candidate should have previous experience in driving scalable B2B modern sales processes through tech-enabled systems
- Previous experience in leading a lean sales teams that is driven in a scalable, process-driven manner
- Fast learning, networking and researching skills, high energy levels, ability to meet defined targets, sound understanding of business principles
