Position: Sr Manager - Banking/ Item Processing Operations (US shift)

Role:

- Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various units under Item Processing (check processing) and ensure 100% SLA adherence

- Manage a multi location team of 100+

- Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the unit/company

- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals

- Hire, manage, and develop high performing teams

- Coordinate and monitor the work of various units involved in production. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity

- Be the face for all communications between onshore and offshore teams and facilitate coordination with various support functions

- Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans

Requirements :

- 10-14 yrs of experience in banking operations, with good knowledge of item processing (Check Processing)

- Handled operations with span of approx. 100 FTEs

- Knowledge around process excellence initiatives (Six Sigma, Lean, benchmarking, specific initiatives and best practices). Certification as a six sigma black belt would be a plus.

- Strong problem solving abilities

- Energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality with good people management skills

- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones (mainly late US shifts 12 am to 9 am)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
