Position Objectives :
- The Marketing Database Manager works with global counterparts in marketing and global data vendors and contractors across company to optimize the quality, integrity and availability of enterprise customer and prospect data to feed, optimize and accelerate marketing and sales revenue programs and nurture systems.
- This position maintains data quality, freshness and integrity so the right data is fed into marketing programs throughout the funnel producing a well-suited experience for customers, a quality responder for sales and well-constructed planning, analysis and reporting at every stage.
- The Marketing Database Manager is also responsible for providing advanced technical support in the analysis, lead management, experimentation and the use of systems including architecture, integration capabilities, and database management for marketing.
Principal Responsibilities :
Data Integrity :
- Streamline and automate processes that continually fix and enrich global enterprise data to improve quality of information and reliability for our stakeholders.
- Business Enablement: Acquisition (acquire new leads), Expansion (expand contacts within the existing customers and key/target accounts); Enrichment (augment existing records with additional attributes, both internal and external); Analytics (enable analysis of customers from multiple dimensions of internal and external data)
- Data Quality: Accuracy (data is validated); Completeness (records have less missing fields); Cleanliness (database is clean; less duplicate records); Consistency (values are consistent and standardized)
- Capability Management: Process (data handling process); Compliance (data use complies); Duplicate Handling (manage intended and unintended duplicates); Archive/Purge (cleanup inactive or junk records)
- Data Management: Platform (manage Salesforce.com and other systems that support company initiatives; Architecture (how various systems and 3rd party services interfaces each other); Automation & Integration
- Improve data reliability: Improve data accuracy of Salesforce.com (SFDC), as the operational data master for Sales and Marketing. Achieve and maintain SLA (delta between SFDC and data warehouse/agency on # of accounts, contacts, products, and usage data).
- Audit data handling process: Review database management process, data enrichment process with vendors to identify areas for continuous improvement (from annual marketing data roadmap).
- Automate manual processes around data handling to improve efficiency and assist in prevention of data issues
Lead/Campaign Management :
- Manage the lead management process and the sales-marketing interlock for all marketing programs
- Monitor, Measure and Improve marketing outcome from all demand generation programs running in the region including but not limited to the Telemarketing channel
- Build marketing performance dashboards/ reports on the marketing outcome and manage communication with the key stakeholders
- Measure and improve the efficiency of the lead management process
- Manage the implementation of the lead management process within Salesforce.com
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure conversion of the marketing generated leads. Manage the process of feedback from sales on leads to drive improvement in the telemarketing engine
Knowledge and Skills :
- Candidate must possess at least a Master in Business Admin/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/Post Graduate Program in Management in any field.
- 5+ years of experience with at-least 3 years of experience in B2B Marketing in an IT/Telecom organization
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com or similar CRM application
- Strong analytical and proven problem solving abilities with the ability to conceive and articulate innovative ideas and drive projects from idea to revenue
- Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
- Demonstrated ability to structure and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work with cross-functional team and drive teams towards a single objective
- Excellent Communications skills
