We are seeking a skilled Sr Manager / AVP (Clean Energy Tech Finance) to join client in Thane. The successful candidate will lead the underwriting of project finance transactions primarily in infrastructure sectors, leveraging expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and transaction execution to drive successful outcomes and support sustainable development initiatives.
Credit Underwriting - Project Finance
Designation: Sr Manager / AVP (Clean Energy Tech Finance ) -Sector Experience Mandatory
Location: Mumbai
Job Objective:
Underwriting of project finance transactions primarily in infrastructure sectors such as roads, renewables, power transmission, water, logistics, city gas distribution (CGD), etc.
Major Deliverables:
- Credit Appraisal: Preparation of credit appraisal notes and in-principle notes/presentations.
- Transaction Execution: Liaising with business, legal, and risk teams for transaction execution, including transaction structuring, term sheet preparation, and compliance checks.
- Knowledge Building: Engaging with internal and external parties to build a knowledge base.
- Financial Modelling: Preparation of financial models and tracking key operating parameters in the infrastructure sectors.
- Sector Tracking: Monitoring developments in the covered sectors.
Specialized Job Competencies:
- Financial Analysis: Deep understanding of financial statements and corporate financial analysis.
- Proficient Writing Skills: Ability to prepare concise and comprehensive credit appraisal notes.
- Financial Modelling: Expertise in creating business plans and financial projections using MS Excel.
- Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the banking and lending business, along with relevant regulatory aspects.
- Research Skills: Detail-oriented and research-driven approach to work.
- Term Sheet Drafting: Proficiency in drafting term sheets.
Desired Experience:
- Experience: 5-8 years in business, credit, or risk profiles within financial institutions, banks, NBFCs, credit rating agencies, project developers, corporate houses, or consultancies.
- Sector Exposure: Experience handling transactions in the specified sectors.
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree: Chartered Accountant (CA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Financial Analysis: Understanding and interpreting financial statements and ratio analysis.
Financial Modelling: Advanced proficiency in Excel for creating financial models and projections.

Capital Markets: Understanding of debt and equity financing, and capital market trends.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with financial regulations and corporate governance.
