Sr Manager/AVP, Legal Entity Controller (FEMALES), Mumbai (APAC & EMEA Shifts) @ Leading Global Bank

A leading global bank is looking for Senior Managers (FEMALE CANDIDATES ONLY) in Mumbai for its Legal Entity Control Group in Mumbai - with controller responsibility for APAC and EMEA based legal entities, leading a 4 to 8-member team and reporting to a VP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial management and control of legal entities.

- Review of statutory financial statements, management accounts and variance analysis

- Validation of US Fed entity level reporting

- Commenting on monthly variance in GL account balances

- Review of quarterly & annual tax compliance / information packs

- Co-ordination of legal entity activity with internal experts - tax, legal, Co-Sec, Auditors etc.

- Review of various monthly, quarterly & annual processes

- Manage relations with stakeholders - auditors, Product & Financial Controllers, Co-Sec, Tax etc.

- Re-engineering and standardization of processes

- Supporting BUs in set-up, opening & closing of entities and adapting entity ledgers and system requirements.

- Ongoing entity-specific initiatives and projects / regional global projects / initiatives like SAP Migration, IFRS & US GAAP Accounting changes, New Product / Transaction Launches etc.

- Contributing to reporting control framework, ensuring compliance to client requirements and internal policy

- Management and development of staff within the Mumbai team.

REQUIREMENTS :

- CA/Qualified accountant

- 8-11 years of relevant work experience

- Knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP

- People Management/Leadership

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

- Proficient in data mining, summarizing and presenting

- Knowledge of financial products - securities lending and repos
