Position : Senior Manager/AVP - Key Account Manager - Bancassurance

Reporting : VP - Distribution Strategy - Bancassurance

Job Responsibilities :

Strategy & Planning

- Undertake strategic planning on achieving sales targets for the bank

- Develop sales targets for various groups

- Ensure monitoring and analysis of performance of each group against identified targets

- Ensure allocation of budgets to various groups and adherence to them

- Develop and implement incentive schemes for bank employees

- Provide inputs for product improvements, new product launches and improvement in sales processes

Strengthen relationship with Bancassurance partners

- Manage & enhance relationship with important bank top management (General Managers, Zonal Managers etc.)

- Maintain clear communication with the Bancassurance partner

- Value add to Bancassurance partners by way of predefined processes in sales, training, service, and supervision

Sales growth and cost management

- Ensure achievement of sales targets

- Ensure successful launch of new products and marketing promotional campaigns for the bank channel

- Review monthly sales targets and discuss with group heads on the backlog, customer feedback, and other insights from the field force

- Effectively manage overheads and thus ensure reduction of cost of operations for the bank channel

- Ensure sales effectiveness & efficiency for the bank channel by optimizing costs, bringing in operational efficiencies, and directing fitment of right resources in appropriate roles, for maximizing the productivity of the employees

Customer satisfaction and retention

- Monitor external bank customer satisfaction through a customer satisfaction index based on parameters such as customer complaints

- Identify industry best practices and ensure that the Company provides superior sales experience to its bank's customers

- Implement processes to increase customer satisfaction and retention

People Management

- Ensure alignment of work culture, practices & performance with that of Company's objectives

- Develop the recruitment and training plan for the Bancassurance channel and ensure recruitment and training of the team as per the plan

- Develop and implement the plan for licensing of the bank staff

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical people-related issues in the team

- Take responsibility for the development of team members and planning for succession; acting as mentor and coach and taking follow up action to ensure employee satisfaction and motivation

Preferred Candidate

- Work Exp - 4-10 years in Insurance

- Graduate, preferably postgraduate in Marketing (MBA from an institute of repute)
