Senior Manager/AVP - Investment Banking (5-8 yrs)
Sr Manager / AVP - Investment Banking
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end execution of deals
- Leading preparation of confidential information memorandum and management presentations
- Identifying and contacting potential buyers or acquisition targets or investors
- Performing financial analyses and valuations
- Leading due diligence and transaction closings for execution of transactions
- Provide detailed financial analysis, models, and strategic advice to clients and senior colleagues.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Manage investor and client expectations with respect to deals
- Lead investor discussions / negotiations
- Responsible for thought leadership in the sector and pitching to clients for deal origination
- Support the reporting manager in creating BD pipeline
- Candidate must have good connects with investors in growth funds with an orientation towards building relevant market intelligence and leads.
- Represent the firm at networking and industry events.
- Strong knowledge of markets & experience with handling growth transactions.
- Superior analytical skills, must be able to think creatively and achieve results quickly.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) / CFA with 5 to 7 years of experience with an investment bank, a deal advisory boutique, or MA departments of accounting/consulting firms.
- Excellent Client Service skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to individuals with varying levels of product expertise.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to attend to detail and work independently.
- Ability to ensure deliverables are met with strict timelines and quality.
- Strong networking skills
- Good communicator
