Senior Manager - Audit - FMCG/Consumer Durables

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Leading the audit - statutory and internal - with the audit firms engaged by the company

2. To prepare IND AS financial statements at period end and other Schedule and reports for auditors.

3. Review financial statements for subsidiary and group Companies.

4. Supporting financial reporting and planning team for monthly financial reporting.

5. Coordinating and supporting preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.

6. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

7. Review and Implement systems for proper - direct and Indirect tax filings.

8. Review of all accounts in the accounting ledger and controlling cost.

9. Taking care of all standard accounting duties to make sure that all credits and debts are tallying

10. Ensuring compliance with tax laws

Desired Qualifications

- MUST - experience of working in a company and handling the company's statutory and internal audits carried out by BIG X audit firms

- MUST - CA with product company/FMCG/consumer durables experience; NO BIG 4 experience in the last 3 years (may have worked in an audit firm during his/her career, BUT not in the previous 3 years)

- MUST - knowledge of SAP FICO Module; preferably of SAP HANA

- 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in IND AS/IFRS accounting, closing books, audit coordination

- Guiding and mentoring the whole accounting team

- Experience of dealing/handling audits independently

- Quick understanding of the Accounting and MIS Systems

- Strong analytical and persuasive skills especially with auditors
