Senior Manager - Assurance (7-12 yrs)

1. Regulatory and statuary compliance - finance/tax, legal and regulatory, environment, health, safety, data laws, labour and HR

3. Value additions through assurance e.g., faster routes to compliance
What you will do in this role:
1. Set up the assurance function
- Define overall assurance framework
- Identify assurance risks and opportunities across businesses
- Support creation of new processes
2. Drive assurance at organisation level
- Determine assurance metrics, establish a tracking system and physical audit system, and drive improvements across these metrics
- Obtain and maintain licenses and registration for business needs (with a supporting team), including external coordination
- Maintain required documentation fit for internal and external validation
- Lead and assure compliances as applicable under relevant laws
What we are looking for:
1. Experience in assurance / compliance
- 7+ years prior relevant experience
- Tenured experience in Big 4
2. Knowledge of setting up function
- Knowhow to key assurance / compliance frameworks
- Experience of setting up / transforming assurance / compliance function in service / manufacturing company
- Depth in atleast 2-3 areas within e.g., legal, tax, labor, EHS
3. Pro active problem solving
- Mindset of solving issues rather than just highlighting them
- Strong stake holder management abilities to drive program across organisation
