Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - Analytics & Research - HR Function - BPO/ITeS (9-12 yrs)

The Incumbent will be responsible for acquiring best market insights and providing strategic inputs to GlobalHR functions and act as an enabler for effective decision making through market information and data. Works in close collaboration with all partners and also conducts extensive research to continuously furnish market trends inclusive of (but not limited to) skills & talent landscape, talent availability, competitor mapping etc. Also provides detailed understanding of industry perspectives and in-depth research on multiple market aspects. The incumbent also acts as a custodian of relevant data-sets and supports strategic projects for the global function. Moreover, is also responsible for conducting any need-based data analysis from time to time to derive and infer conclusions on specific business questions.

Responsibilities

- Integrate information and enhance decision making capability for HR

- Comprehensive talent landscape mapping to provide insights on technology & operations skillsets thereby assisting in effective talent acquisition

- Procure key intelligence about competitor organizations in terms of overall organization synopsis, location strategies, business expansions and work types

- Produce fact files pertaining to industry updates and publish insights focusing on key HR-related market information

- Publish Research reports and whitepapers basis business needs and requirements thereby providing a competitive advantage to the HR group

- Act as a custodian for relevant & critical datasets and conduct required data analytics from time to time thereby deriving value add inferences

- Operate and maintain a Market Research & Intelligence database to house all research reports and analyze information for end-use

- Participate and support large scale key strategic projects across HR functions

- Participate in floor walks during business visits, present relevant information & insights to key stakeholders

- Improvise and generate solutions related to any business problems

- Amplify industry orientation through stronger engagement in market forums

Requirements :

Education Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline

Certifications Preferably Six Sigma Green Belt certified/Any Analytics certification

Experience Range 10 to 12 years

Mandatory skills :

- Strong knowledge in conducting relevant & comprehensive market research related to HR/business topics, ability to correlate facts, figures and industry actions

- Strong eye for detail & expertise in writing business reports, research papers & journals, ability to dig deep and connect dots through the identification of right research sources

- Strong knowledge & understanding of existing online portals and tools to extract, interpret & analyze market information

- excellent presentation skills, design & build business presentations using MS PowerPoint

- Strong expertise in MS Excel inclusive of Data Analysis & functions, ability to load, process, transform data & extract inferences, a sound understanding of statistical interpretations

- Strong understanding of MS SharePoint data warehousing, SharePoint designing and workflow functionality

- Project Management experience in implementing large scale business transformations/ initiatives/projects

- Effective engagement with business partners

Desired skills:

- Understanding of multiple HR work streams and portfolios

- Automation solutions using MS SharePoint

- Understanding of Macro/VB Scripting based automation

- Working knowledge of Data Interpretation & analysis in Tableau
