Senior Manager - Analytics - Beverages (6-12 yrs)

The Senior Analytics Manager will report to the Chief Strategy Officer. The role will support the development of analytics strategy and lead the execution of bespoke analytical solutions. Build standard Business KPI reports and analyses, analytics-driven solutions for tactical and strategic business problems that enable data-driven decision making across functions of the business.

Core Skills :

- Strong analytical capabilities; Ability to structure business problems (large/complex, or small/simple) into smaller parts for analysis

- Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills; lead day-to-day business conversations with sales heads, brand heads, and other functional heads

- Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL; familiarity with R and business intelligence tools.

- Sales and marketing domain (primary domain) knowledge and understanding, enterprise domain preferable in the consumer goods industry.

- Good presentation and storyboarding skills.

- Curious mind with strong fundamentals and first principles thinking.

- Likes wriggling data to create stories, can bring numbers to life.
 
Roles & Responsibilities :

Business partnering :

- Liaise with the internal stakeholders on a periodic basis to prioritise strategic and tactical imperatives and deliver powerful value driven analytics.

- Setup and share standardized analytics report with the Branches, Regions & HO and highlight focus areas.

- Identification of Geography, Channel, Brand, Pack opportunities basis available data and provide insights on disruptive gain opportunities.

- Complete SWOT analysis highlighting actions points for easy wins and key battles and monitoring various analytics driven initiatives.

- Basic understanding of Financial analysis and metrics.

- Monitoring Profitable Value Brand performance across regions with special focus on priority states.

- Monitoring and reporting of Sales KPIs.

- Reporting automation and insight generation

- Collaborate with business leaders to deliver insights derived from data, highlight emerging trends/customer needs, and work through implications for business strategy.

- Analyze business portfolio by designing performance dashboards and other business classification, selecting and prioritization metrics.

- Preparation and analysis of daily, monthly & annual dashboards and reports that assist in business planning and deployment.

Team and People Management :

- Train, develop and supervise analysts

- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business within the department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within the company.
