Senior Manager - Analytical Research - Agro-Chemical Manufacturing Firm

Senior Manager-Analytical Research requirement in one of the leading Agro-Chemical Manufacturing Company.

Role & Responsibilities:

Position Purpose

- Analytical method development & Validation

- Proficiency in handling HPLC and GC. Good knowledge in the method development & validation aspect. Develop a robust and reproducible Analytical method and successful technology transfer from R&D to commercial scale.

- Pro-activeness to troubleshoot any complexity during the analysis

- Conduct of GLP studies: In the role of Study Director:  Preparation study plan, raw data preparation, study report preparation, ensure the calibration of GLP equipment, preparation of SOP. Knowledge of OECD principles of Good Laboratory Practice.

Strategic Responsibilities

- To understand the analytical scope of project/chemistry/ MSDS

- A literature search for new method development and validation of newly developed methods

- Inputs in the planning of experiments/raw materials analysis.

- Conduct GLP studies. Generate SOP and make Study Plan for GLP studies.

- To ensure proper maintenance of lab equipments.

- Proper housekeeping and use of PPEs.

- Use relevant MSDS for safe handling and disposals of toxic chemicals

Operational Responsibilities

- Co-ordination with R&D for analytical support/development.

- Evaluating technical documents for newly received R&D Projects

- Ensure analytical method development and validation as per planning.

- Analytical Support to kilo lab/pilot plant/manufacturing site during technology transfer

- Consolidating Annual Calibration, Study Plans & reports as well as imparting training to Study Personnel on maintaining Usage Logbooks in GLP System

- Effective troubleshooting during production scale

- CAPEX Technical evaluation of approved types of equipment.

- Impurities characterization
