Senior Manager/AGM - Legal - Steel/Mining - LLB

Requirements :

1. Five years integrated law graduate from premiere institute / university in India with 8-12 years of experience in steel, mining MNC / large Indian corporate managing legal function

2. Strong academic background - candidate with throughout first-class career and conversant with the regional language would be preferred

KRAs :

Legal Litigation :

1. Interaction with business team to ascertain factual background pertaining to issues involved in existing or prospective litigation

2. Preparation of required documentation and carrying out legal research work in respect of litigation

3. Briefing Counsels on litigations and ensuring required coordination with the AoR and counsels

4. Maintaining updated records of litigations including data base of lawyers along-with agreed schedule of fees

5. Updating the online litigation management tool

6. Maintenance of litigation/legal MIS

Contract :

7. Review and Vetting of Contracts, documents etc with a view to protect the interest of the organization

8. Work on contract through online Contract Life Cycle Management tool available in the organization

Statutory Compliances :

9. Monitor statutory compliance in respect of the unit/business function

10. Develop and implement robust compliance management system
