Senior Manager/AGM - Legal - Manufacturing Firm - LLB (12-15 yrs)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Independently drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for various business verticals of the company including Technology agreements, SAAS agreements, software license agreements, procurement, NDAs, and other day to day business/Commercial agreements.

- Providing strategic legal and commercial advice on laws relating to Agriculture, technology laws, intellectual property laws, commercial laws, property laws, regulations, data protection, employment laws, compliance and legal risks relating to our business.

- Providing legal and compliance support and advisory for any M&A transactions.

- Managing and instructing external counsel for ongoing litigations.

- Developing litigation strategies for ongoing and potential litigations.

- Analyzing and assessing business processes, identifying issues and proposing pragmatic solutions while possessing a strong legal and commercial judgment.

- Advising on laws applicable and legal risks related to new business and assist the Corporate Legal Head on important legal issues affecting the business of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- Should be a Law graduate with 12-15 years' experience in Corporate Legal /law firms/ MNC.

- Experience in general corporate end-to-end contract negotiation and execution.

- Experience in laws related to property, Electricity, JVs SHAs, PPA, Commercial laws, intellectual property, Employment laws, Consumer laws, IPC and other criminal matters

- Should have the ability to handle complex legal issues and litigation before the courts on its own.

- Must have the ability to work on multiple assignments and to re- prioritize quickly to address shifting business needs.

- Must be commercially savvy "business enabler", who can proactively engage with stakeholders

- Passion to analyse legal aspects of businesses of company.

- Fluency in MS Office and related tools
