Senior Manager/AGM - Financial Accounting - Energy Sector

Objective of the position

- Ensuring authenticity of Financial results of company

- Statutory & Group Reporting on month to month basis.

- Develop Control and Compliance Framework for the company

Responsibilities

- Overall Responsible for Financial Accounting and Reporting for the company.

- Overall responsible for Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and General Ledger ensuring vendors are paid in time, invoices to customers are raised accurately and in timely manner.

- Revenue Recognition and authenticity of the same in line with Financial Accounting policy.

- Further ensure authenticity of Balance Sheet and P&L Account for each of the entities.

- Overall responsible for Group reporting for consolidation.

- Provide monthly Management Information Reports to Local Leadership

- Contribute to Working Capital Management

- Statutory Reporting & Finalize books for Local GAP.

- Migration to Ind AS

- Consolidation of Results at India Level for all companies. Also provide Consolidated Financials

- Manage Relationship with Statutory Auditors and ensure that Audit Timelines are adhered to.

- Contribute to SAP Development & other Systems Development

- Monitor Outsourced Agencies for Performance and adherence to service levels.

- Develop KPIs for Accounts Payable & Receivables &Financial Accounting, monitor & Improve the same.

- Support Group Company for Consolidation of its financial results on need basis.

Main tasks

- Seamless completion of Statutory Audits in timely manner for all entities.

- Liaison with Statutory & Internal Auditors.

- Monthly Reporting to the Group and Leadership Team.

- Migration to SAP & Other Systems.

- Migration to Ind AS.

- Liaison with Outsourced agencies, monitor & develop them.

Required Educational Background:

- Bachelor of Commerce & Chartered Accountant.

Required professional experience

- Around 8-10 years of Relevant Experience with Infrastructure Power or OEMs.

- Industry Experience and Big 4 Working Background.

- Working with MNCs or large Indian Corporates.

- Should have worked on SAP R/3.

Specific required skills:

- Knowledge of Working with SAP R/3.

- Prior experience of consolidation and Ind AS & IFRS is a must.

- Good writing skills, Conceptual clarity on Financial Accounting and systems development.

- Change Management and Stakeholder Management.
