Sr. Manager/AGM BCP (Business Continuity Planning)


MANDATORY ASK: 15+ YRS OVERALL WORK EXPERIENCE OF WHICH 5+ YEARS IN BCP - IT/ITES ORGANISATIONS/ EXP IN BUSINESS IMPACT ANALYSIS / OPEN TO TRAVEL 2-3 MONTHS IN A YEAR


PURPOSE:

The SSDM Business Continuity Planning is responsible for developing, maintaining and testing the organization's business continuity program and bring in robust best practices to enable the organization manage potential crisis event and meet compliance requirements for BCP planning.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

- Strong, proven experience in driving BCP for IT/ITeS organizations.

- Experience in Risk Management related program implementation in multiple domains, along with controls and compliance management to support BCP.

- Knowledge of technology and business concepts, life cycles and processes

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and maintain a Business Continuity Plan and procedure; review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols for accounts.

- Conduct risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyze potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions.

- Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, viruses, and hackers.

- Design reports, dashboards, and infographics using data visualization tools.

- Create and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.

- Create and deliver business continuity and disaster recovery training to the businesses.

- Work with health, safety, and security staff and local and state agencies to align the organizations emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- 15+ years of overall experience of which at least 5+ years in BCP.

- Should have experience in implementing & managing BCP for a BPO / Back Office Setup.

- In-depth knowledge of business continuity risk and its frameworks and tools.

- Analyses complex technical issues and distils them, and delivers clear recommendations which are understandable and credible for the management.

- Ability to collaborate with others to develop an emergency plan.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP, CRP) accreditation preferred.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
