JOB SUMMARY:
Manages the activities of a team of individual contributors in a finance related discipline in support of overall company objectives and revenue and profitability goals as well as future business growth objectives
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable
- Driving entire AP team towards improved efficiency in terms of volume/accuracy of invoices
- Ensure and drive strict adherence to corporate policies related AP & Finance
- Integrating AP team with Finance and provide holistic view of finance responsibilities
- Regular meeting with Supply Chain and planning the activities in advance to avoid delay in invoice processing
- Interacting with different business functions and address its concerns w.r.t. AP function
- Oversee Accounts Payable - Opex & Capex
- Manage monthly closing & provisioning
- Preparation of monthly MIS around processed invoices, outstanding invoices, trade payables aging etc.
- Presenting monthly analysis related to cost trend, cost center etc. and alert forecasting team in advance to help organization deliver actuals as per forecast
- Plan throughput of AP team to ensure no escalations from business
- Suggest and implement automation projects for the team
- Delivery of audit schedules, vendor reconciliations
- Adhering to Internal controls - SOX and FABAC
- Supervise booking of transactions as per GST rules
- Develops, implements, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies.
- Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
CA/CMA /MBA/PGDBA in Finance
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 8 to 10 Years of domain experience
