Senior Manager - Account Executive - Global Inwards - Insurance Broking (6-10 yrs)

Our client Anviti Insurance Brokers Private Limited is in the process of setting up its Insurance Broking operations in India. Anviti is promoted by Catamaran, the proprietary investment firm of Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Limited. The Account Executive is responsible for the Growth and account management of Global Inwards. S/he is required as an Account Executive, to nurture, manage and make inroads into the global accounts. S/he is responsible for providing technical and/or operational expertise regarding multinational accounts, assigned to him/her including coordination of offices both within and outside own geography.

The Ideal candidates have about 6-9 years of experience, off which the last 3-4 years in account management with a reputed Insurance Broker or large insurance company. The Executive should have owned and handled large MNC clients or a portfolio of several Global Inward accounts. Experience in the Insurance industry with a Licentiate equivalent of IRDAI is a must.

The Executive should have had prior experience in Global Inwards. Executive with proven Individual contribution capabilities and ability to work cross functional teams will preferred. The incumbent must have performed the following responsibilities in the current role

- Manage a portfolio of large to medium Risk Managed Global Inward accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times including coordination with our Partner's Global Network.

- Provide advice, guidance and execution of global program solutions appropriate to individual client requirements, based on an assessment of client requirements, evaluation of program options.

- Coordinate, manage and develop support staff including Account Executives, Assistant Account Executives and Administrative staff through clear and effective communication, delegation and performance management.

- Develop and maintain effective long term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organizations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client;

- Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards;

- Implement successful account retention and defence strategies;

- Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients;

- Encourage and develop subordinates skills through on the job training, regular performance feedback and external competency based training;

- Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments;

- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Act, IRDA Brokers Code of Conduct and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments

- Support customer in the claims handling processes; work with central claims team for complicated claims

- Developed sales materials, sales collateral, collected market intelligence and facilitated to win business, Also, should have developed similar competencies in his/her teams.

- Develop and maintain relationships with all global insurance markets within defined geography.

The executive is an independent contributor and is also required to be a team player with Strong client management and leadership skills, Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must have worked on a Reporting tools, CRM Tools. Hands-on experience on eGlobal is preferred but not essential. Fluency in English, written and spoken, is essential for this role. Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential.
