Key Responsibilities: Legal: The incumbent will be responsible for drafting and negotiating all contracts for the Company and its subsidiaries. Compliance: The incumbent will be responsible for the Company's compliance under various laws and contracts, including Concession Agreements. The incumbent will work with the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance under the Companies Act, Land related compliance and other processes, Permits &amp; Approvals etc. S/he will be responsible for periodic compliance reviews and reporting. Clearance, Permits &amp; Approvals - Statutory Approvals - Factory License, Labour related - Shop &amp; Establishment Act - Fire NoC - Prepare, own, maintain and update risk register on regular basis Land related - Managing compliances for land (Private, Govt, Revenue, leased land etc) - Validating lease, sale deed, other land related documents, legal diligence of title - Identify and take on board the local legal counsel for evaluation of title documents and preparation of execution documents. - Maintaining Depository of all land related documents - Assist business teams in de-risking the land acquisition process Concession Agreement - Identification, finalisation of counsels for representation at Concession Granting Authorities. - Firming up views in consultation with business teams, briefing to counsels prior to hearing Skills &amp; Competencies: - LLB / LLM with 8 to 15 years experience - Should have experience in road / infrastructure sector - Very good communication skills in all forms - Ability to network and form high quality working relationships with stakeholders
