Senior Leadership Role - Consumer Market - CPG/Retail/FMCG (9-20 yrs)

- Candidate will lead a team of x-competency analysts in the development of clear, persuasive and concise company outside-in analyses that will support companies demand generation engine. Drawing from deep experience working with clients in the Consumer Markets industry, they will apply advanced expertise to lead the team in translating analysis into credible recommendations that drive action.

- Demonstrates knowledge and/or proven record of success either in professional consulting services or corporate roles (9-20 years of experience), in one or more of the following sectors:

- Retail: retail, grocery, and restaurants

- Travel, Transportation, and Logistics: airlines, hotels, casinos, rail, and logistics.

- Consumer Products: food, beverage, and household and personal products.

In-depth knowledge of one or more resources/data sets such as the below would be greatly valued:

- Global Data

- US Census Bureau - Retail trade data

- IHS Markit

- IBIS World

- Capital IQ

The candidate should have deep experience in public/private company analysis, with the following specific skills and capabilities:

- Ability to identify key priority growth areas for a company and recommend potential transformational initiatives that would result in margin improvement

- Ability to draw insights from a company's commercial strategy across multiple other inputs including cost and operating model, valuation, talent and culture, digital & cyber, ESG, macro and geopolitical, Risk and regulatory, and deals

- Robust knowledge and experience (9-20 years) of one or more of the following sectors: retail, grocery, and restaurants; airlines, hotels, casinos, rail, and logistics; food, beverage, and household and personal products.

- Comprehensive understanding of the industry/sector value chain for all segments, and ability to define the total addressable market, growth forecasts, competition and interactions, and value exchanges

- Ability to identify key market trends and what investments are required to align with market trends and strategic priorities

- Demonstrates exceptional project management skills (team quarterback) and ability to lead diverse teams across multiple capabilities and competencies

- Attention to detail with a focus on analytic quality and fusion

Candidates should also:

- Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills

- Write reports and effectively communicate implications of analysis

- Troubleshoot project issues with the broader Insights Factory team and elevate to leadership as appropriate

People Management Responsibilties :

9-20 years of experience, with 8-10 years of leading x-competency team
