Candidates should be able to demonstrate abilities within a project team that includes the following:
- Experience working with clients in the financial services sector, ideally with large banks, insurers or asset managers, on one or more of the following:
a) Corporate or business unit strategy
b) Growth strategy
c) Cost reduction strategy
- Ability to apply strategic thinking to identify business optimization opportunities through an outside-in lens, across all aspects of an enterprise - commercial strategy, operations, digital, etc.
- Knowledge of or experience in broader G&A functions (i.e. HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
- Demonstrated ability to work with quantitative data to structure quantitative analysis, and to make data-driven choices about where a business can play and how it can win in order to drive growth and unlock enterprise value
- Comprehensive understanding of key sector and market trends impacting companies across FS segments
- Superior analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in managing teams and coaching others to high performance
- Ability to quickly and confidently develop relationships, including in challenging situations
Educational Background: MBA from a premier B-School
