Senior Lead Financial Analyst - With a global semiconductor manufacturer (03:00 PM - 12:00 Noon) This role resides in the Business Unit finance organization. As a member of the Etch Product Group (EPG) finance team you will be responsible for managing all aspects of planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics, close and other functions for Capital investments and depreciation (CapEx), Inventory and reserves (Manufacturing, Spares and Engineering), Engineering and Other Cost of Sales (E/OCOS eg. design or specification issues, safety obligations, excess and obsolete reserve assessment, last time buys, etc.) as well as other ad-hoc requests to support strategic initiatives. This role has high visibility with EPG Executive Management and offers the opportunity to work cross functionally with different groups outside of EPG Group such as Product Management, Program Management, Lab Operations, Global Operations Finance, Product Group Operations, Business Development, Sales Operations, etc. This position will have significant collaboration with finance teams and business partners in PST time zone. Although position is for local time zone, quick turnaround and PST time zone support may be required, especially during close and forecast cycles. Key responsibilities include: - Managing Quarterly forecast reviews (QxR), Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and Balance Sheet Review (BSR) Cycle, Strategic Planning, Close, Proforma forecast and other deliverables - Partner with business units to build forecasts, achieve financial targets, other requests - Publish financial schedules on a regular basis to track actual performance vs. forecast - Variance Analysis and Recommendations for CapEx, ECOGS, Inventory/Reserves and other requests and providing business context to changes - Champion and lead projects to improve existing processes and systems - Collaborate and manage deliverables with outsource provider to enable successful end to end work product eg. fixed asset audits, certain journal entry postings, reporting, etc. - Subject Matter Expert for BPC (SAP Business Planning and Consolidation application) - develop, maintain and improve system capabilities - Partner create and publish reports to aid in KPI Tracking, in support of short term and long term initiatives - Complete SOX requests, Tax and other Audit requests as needed - Flexibility to work with different time zones to support deadlines (eg. Pacific time zone flexibility a must during close / forecast cycles) - Support other adhoc requests as needed Skills: - Bachelor's degree required, MBA or related professional certification (CPA, CMA, CA) preferred - 5-8 years of experience - Industry knowledge preferred but not required - Strong financial systems expertise. Familiarity with SAP, BW, Business Objects Planning is a requirement - Extremely detail oriented, well organized, high standard of accuracy and ability to multi-task - Exceptionally savvy at financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and strong Powerpoint skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to summarize complex and technical issues / analysis into simple and clear messaging and recommendation for Senior management - Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization - Proactive and independent person who identifies issues and drives them to resolution - Ability to problem solve, deal with ambiguity with a keen and curious mindset - Flexibility to manage unplanned requests, prioritize and work across timezones to meet deadlines for deliverables - The person must also be driven to continuously identify and implement improvements to processes, analytics and metrics
