Senior IT Infrastructure Support Manager - ITIL (15-18 yrs)

1. Required Qualifications/Certifications

- Technology certifications or Bachelor's degree.

- Professional IT accreditation or qualification is desirable

- ITIL Practitioner is essential

- COBIT foundation or equivalent is desirable

2. Experience Requirements

- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in managing and maintaining medium to large corporate IT Infrastructure / Server Administration / Remote Support / Network Support / Service Delivery with at least 7 years in management role

3. Knowledge Requirements

- Expertise in VMware ESX, Citrix, SAN, Monitoring tools, and Operating Systems (strong understanding of Windows)

4. Core Responsibilities

- Driving operations and support of all IT- Infrastructure- across multiple locations and a data center in the UK, which hosts bank's critical applications and services such as end user computing platforms (Citrix, VDIs etc.), Online Services, Contact Center Solutions etc.

- Responsible for Data Centre Operation & Maintenance, Service Desk Operations and Day to day IT Operations Management

- Driving excellence in service delivery execution and ensuring achievement of operational outcomes; resolving change, project issues etc.

- Championing and leading the implementation of ITIL processes and procedures

- Facilitating 24x7 support of the operations and delivery from offshore.

- Owning and continually improving the delivery methodologies to reduce cost and improve quality; facilitating continuous improvement of processes.

- Identifying & managing vendors for procurement for all IT products; closing vendor contracts and performing gap analysis where required.

- Tracking team performance through review of weekly reports, identifying areas of improvement and sharing best practices with the team.-

- 5+ years working as an IT- manager- and/or IT Service Manager or relevant experience.
