Role Summary :

Sr. IT Auditor is responsible for performing individual internal audit projects as part of the internal audit plan. He has to lead the Continuous Monitoring/Auditing Team with focus on Data Analytics. The person should have an experience of Analytical tools like Idea, Power BI, python etc and worked extensively on Data Analytics. The responsibility includes developing audit scope, performing audit procedures, and preparing audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed and also ensure implementation through effective follow.

Key responsibilities :

Data Analytics & Continuous Audit/Monitoring :

- Execute data analytics and bring out trends/insights from large spend items of the company by using Analytical tool like Idea, Power BI, Python, advanced analytics tool. Review various dashboard logics to understand all relevant attributes are captured and that dashboards/process controls/exceptions reflect accurate and complete data for management reviews. 

Execute Internal Audits as per Plan :

- Planning - gather preliminary information including MIS, MRM presentation and previous IA reports (if any) to understanding business process and key risks associate, obtain process understanding from process owners, analysis of financial and non-financial data and participate in scope defining exercise.

- Obtain business policies, procedures and applicable SOPs. Understanding of applicable rules & regulations. Download required reports from SAP and other systems.

- Ensure all work paper are properly arranged and sequentially saved in designated folders in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data reviewed and can be achieved in later dated.

Report Review :

- Reporting - preparation of draft report along with the External Consultants with observations, risk implication, root cause analysis and having preliminary discussion of observations with process owners and incorporating their comments and action plans.

- Follow up of implementation of recommendations

- Learning and Knowledge sharing

- Support MIS and Audit Committee (AC) Reporting

Key performance Indicators :

- IT skills to understand and validate application logics skills added during the review period

- Knowledge on Data Analysis and usage of analytical tools i.e. IDEA tool, Power BI etc., no. of audits handled which are based on data analytics and emerging technologies

- Timely completion of the projects

- Overall business sense and ERP knowledge

Education & Experience :

- CA with 5-7 years with specialization in Audit, data analytics & IT, preferably with CIA or CISA certification, with of experience working in ERP environment.
