Job Role:
The purpose of this role is to strategically support manufacturing operations in terms of Manpower planning, hiring, education to employees, performance management, driving employee interaction and engagement initiative, Employee Relations / Industrial relations, disciplinary proceedings and compliances.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador in the business to inculcate company values among new entrants and existing employees by organizing innovative program and make TE a - great place for work-
- Partner with the plant business lead and keep close watch on the business movement
- Strategically plan the resource pool to support the business for timely supply of manpower
- Effective screening of candidates and recruit right resources for plant operations
- Time to time review on On-boarding program and customize the program in line with the business need
- Ensure continuous education to employees by leveraging the plant supervisor and managers
- Counseling employees on: Personality Development, Employee Re-skilling, multi skilling, Higher education so as to increase the employability of employees
- Arrange a platform for effective performance management of plant employees by preparing plant managers to guide and coach employees
- Bring in a culture of continuous improvement in the plant with effective participation and contribution in TEOA activities
- Drive Employee Engagement initiatives in the plant to bring in change among employees for mutual benefits by leveraging each other strengths and capabilities
- Ensure cordial Employee Relations in the plant and implement wage agreements and settlements benefits from time to time
- Regular interaction with union office bearers by involving plant managers for maintaining harmonious Industrial Relations
- Active participation and support to lead wage negotiations with union
- Handle grievances and counsel employees from time to time
- Work closely with C&B team
- Bring a culture of EHS in the organization by strengthening various programs with the help of EHS
- Initiate disciplinary actions
- Ensure time to time HR legal audit and compliances as per the applicable statutes to ensure plant is complied.
- Manage employee services smoothly & effectively to support business by leveraging the services of shared service resources (ie. EAP, transport, GHK, canteen, medical etc.,)
Candidate Desired Skills:
- MBA/PGDM HR and or Social Welfare from good institutes with 8- 12 years of experience working in medium or large manufacturing/engineering companies.
- Mandatory: knowledge of Labour Laws, Conducting negotiation with the union, Good Liaison with the Governmental agencies like Factory Inspector, PF, ESI, Labour etc., Training & Development
- Candidates from Any medium or large Manufacturing company which are mainly having plant or plants can apply. Reputed MNCs preferred
