Senior HR Business Partner - Technology Business - Insurance (9-13 yrs)

Role Summary:

Our client is one of the largest Insurance MNC organization. They are looking for a Senior Manager - HRBP to lead their Technology Business, which is one out of their three verticals, responsible for an employee base of 500+ people while reporting into the Associate Director HR.

The HRBP - Technology Business, is a strategic HR leadership role to lead and shape the organization agenda and develop the People Strategy supporting the Technology Business. The ideal candidate is someone who likes to turn ideas to reality and deliver substantive business impact. There should be strength in building trusted relationships with leaders and ability to leverage the same to diagnose and coach leaders.

He/She will be involved in developing and delivering the People Strategy and HR results aligned to business objectives for Technology Business. He/She will be a key member of the India HR team partnering with the Technology business and will drive organization efficiency while implementing HR programs related to Talent Management and Engagement. He/She provide a unified HR face and create strategic talent management programs to improve workforce performance. This can include defining requirements and confirming suitability of People strategy, programs, processes and services, monitoring effectiveness of existing HR programs and services and engaging with HR service delivery on issues and resolution.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelors/PG degree or equivalent (Full time)

- 9 - 12 years of Human Resources experience

- Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business setting is required.

- Experience assessing management and executive talent

- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.

- Proven success in contributing to a global, team-oriented environment

- Good conceptual skills with ability to create and develop people programs or initiatives.

- Demonstrated ability to program manage complex initiatives to success

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

- Experience working in a high tech, entrepreneurial environment with strong multi-tasking skills

- Excellent communication (written/oral), ability to influence and hold a point of view.

- Exposure to employment law

Accountabilities:

- HR Lead to work closely with business and leadership to design and execute the People strategy for the technology function. Work with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions

- Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment and development.

- Responsible for leading Talent Management for the Technology function which may include Talent review planning, Talent mobility and Leadership development. Drive the people review within the function and do a Succession Planning at all levels.

- Anticipate and plan for future talent capability needs by analyzing and interpreting workforce information, reviewing results of engagement survey and discuss top of mind issues and concerns with business leaders.

- Provide management coaching to People managers and Senior leaders. Provide assistance to managers for strengthening employee retention for attrition control and mitigation

- Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements. Analysis of employee separation process and exit interviews to formulate attrition mitigation plans.

- Actively influence the business strategy to ensure that People Strategy considerations are appropriately reflected

- Propose strategic changes and channelize change management within the organization

- Conduct dipstick surveys to understand the pulse of the unit and construct action plans to address concerns. Report the pulse of the organization through regular Focus group sessions, One on One and skip level meetings.

- Periodic meetings with senior management and team managers to understand the team issues and design plans for corrective actions.

- Routine management of employee issues including disciplinary matters, grievance handling, change management and counselling.

- Policy Awareness Sessions to educate and empower the employees.

- Partner with business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes with a focus on Performance Management and talent development

- Evaluate the Career framework of the technology business and recommend changes basis the changing dynamics.

- Work with business groups to assess create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client group.

- HR Project - working closely with project team and plan & strategize HR projects ie GES and GPTW
