Job Overview: Creating Business Plans &amp; Financial Models as per the requirements of the employer - Research - Business Plan Creation - Financial Model Creation - Valuation Planning &amp; Structuring - Investor Pitch Deck Creation Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer &amp; Director Finance Core Responsibilities &amp; Result Areas: - Undertakes detailed sectorial &amp; Competition research based on the Financial Model / Business Planning assignment requirements - Structures the analytics from this research into - GAP Analysis - Business Plan - Financial Model Assumptions - Investor Deck Story - Creation of Business Plan &amp; Financial Model - Structure and present the appropriate valuation model based on the final Financial Model &amp; Sector - Create the content for the Investor Deck Professional Qualifications: - An undergraduate degree Business Management - BSC Finance - CA/CPA/ACCA with additional qualification of Financial Analyst - A postgraduate in Management with a thorough understanding of Economics, Statistics, Finance, and/or Information Management is preferred Experience: - Generally a minimum of 6 - 10 years experience in similar role (Exposure to Startup Environments desired) Proficiency: - Corporate Strategy - Business &amp; Financial Analysis &amp; Modelling - Market Research - Consulting/Advisory Skills: - Maintain Confidentiality - Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles. - Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required - Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required - Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude - Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems - Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership. - Financial modeling expertise - Open to travel Key Result Areas: - Deliver and Average of 2-3 financial models a month - Any business development initiatives would be viewed as an added bonus
