This role is for our client which is a US based company in Chennai

Position Scope :

We seek a senior financial analyst with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The senior financial analyst will work on both regular and dynamic business requirements relating to budgets, variances, new projects, board meeting preparation and monthly reporting. The senior financial analyst will report to the senior finance manager.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Prepare annual budgets and ongoing forecasts relating to our UK lending business

- Analyze and discuss monthly and quarterly trends in revenue, expense, cash flows and other related areas with senior management

- Monitor weekly performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

- Prepare quarterly financial presentations for the Board of Directors of the Company and the UK business

- Assist in preparation of a standard monthly reporting package to the Finance Committee

- Preparation of the Company's monthly and quarterly bank compliance package, including a Management Discussion & Analysis describing the current financial performance of the company relative to prior periods

- Assisting with ad hoc accounting requirements

- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

- Coordinate with teams for requirements above

Professional and Educational Qualifications :

- CA finalist/CA/MBA (Finance) only

- Minimum 2 years of related work experience mandatory

- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must. Macros not needed

- Strong analytical, modelling and problem solving skills

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized

- Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a role requiring coordination with many functions
