Senior Finance Manager - Finance Controller

Position Name : Finance Controller

Location : Bangalore

Experience Range : 5 - 8 years

Mandatory Requirement: CA or CFA or MBA Finance

Should have worked with a D2C Startup or FMCG Controllership

About the client: The client is a disruptive, modern, and eco-conscious kids skin and hair care products from 100% recycled plastic, specially formulated for children aged 3-14 in India.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounting, taxation and compliance

- Preparation of annual operating plan & budget

- Preparation of monthly MIS & various other management reports and annual statutory audit completion with Big 4 audit firm

- Set up SOPs and internal control across the organization

- Inventory management & review

- Customer & collection and Vendor & payment & payroll management

- Treasury management and debt raise and covenants management

- Compliance with Income tax, GST Labour Laws and statutory compliance including registration of commercial law compliances

- Work with external or in-house finance team for day-to-day finance operations

- Support Fundraise, due diligence, investor presentation

- Oversee company act compliances applicable to the company on various transaction

- Work with external consultants, and law firms to ensure compliance

- Lead the investor relation functions

Qualification and Experience:

- 2-4 years experience in startups/FMCG financial roles.

- Have a deep understanding of reconciliation and sales and are able to identify early indicators of risks.

- A Master's Degree in Finance / Professional Finance Qualification / CA/ ACCA or equivalent.

- Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential.
