Senior Executive - Indirect Taxation - FMCG (2-6 yrs)
Department : Taxation
Reporting to : Manager Taxation
Opportunity with a leading FMCG MNC company
Qualification - CA with minimum 1 year experience or MCom with 4 - 6 years experience in a FMCG or Pharma company
- Requires good knowledge on GST
- Procedural and legal compliance relating to indirect tax legislation
- Responsible for supporting the Indirect tax manager on indirect tax laws (Excise, Customs, Service tax, VAT, CST and proposed GST law)
- Responsible for accounting hygiene and review of schedules pertaining to indirect taxes
- Responsible for maintaining all records, accounting, filing and interacting with the departments, either directly or through consultants
- Responsible on working closely with consultants pertaining on matters related to indirect taxes as they relate to the company
- Preparing periodic tax returns to ensure that they are accurately calculated and reported in accordance with government regulatory agencies
- Point of contact on all indirect taxes related to company
- Actively participate in completion of Excise and VAT business audits.
- Responsible for Coordination and execution of projects relating to area of indirect taxes
- Actively participate in initiative which results from changes in process or changes in environment in the area of indirect taxes
- Work closely with building preparedness for the company's position in the event of any proceedings, litigations
