Job Title Senior Equity Research Analyst

Job summary : The role involves supporting an onshore analyst of a London-based HF in managing the Insurance/European Real Estate or Energy/Utilities, commodities sector research

Location : Mumbai/ Pune/ Gurgaon/ Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Experience : 3-10 yrs

Job duties :

- Will involve building and maintaining financial models for companies using SEC filings, company conference calls transcripts, presentations and press releases

- Should be able to handle client queries and provide crunch time support during earnings

- Handle bespoke research tasks, including preparing event updates, analyzing IPOs/corporate actions, maintaining sector databases

Qualification : MBA (Finance), CA or CFA (US). Prior experience in Buy side Equity Research preferred

Skills Required :

- 3-10 years' experience in Equity Research and Financial Modelling. Should be able to independently create, update and forecast financial models

- Prior knowledge of buy-side research is preferrable

- Excellent communication skills and client relationship skills

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts

- Attention to detail, ability to stretch and learn, high analytical rigor and work under pressure

- Good problem solving skills

- MS Excel, MS office tools, Bloomberg
