Senior Engineering Manager - Software Product Development - Smart Parking Platform (7-10 yrs)

Client is a pioneer in the area of "open IOT smart parking platform". They have a presence in over 15 countries and offices in Delhi, Bangalore and Germany.

Recipients of many prestigious awards and recognitions, they are looking at hiring extensively for their Technology team based in Bangalore.

Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mind set to take charge of product engineering and to help build a truly world class enterprise software of the future! You'll play a critical role in building and developing a Product Roadmap, working closely with our leadership and functional teams in establishing, leading and inspiring a world class engineering team.

The ideal candidate shall be a proven technology leader with deep experience in leading software development teams in the design and development of world class enterprise products & platforms using cutting edge software development technologies & platforms. Proven track record of software product delivery in multiple environments, with a high quality team management experience is essential.

Qualifications & Experience - 

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institute.

- 7-10 years of experience in Software Product Development.

- Experience of software architecting, leading development team, taking products through the entire product development life cycle in at least one large development organization or at a successful high tech software product start-up.

- Demonstrated success establishing a streamlined software development process (Agile/Lean) including solid documentation and exceptional functional quality and reliability

Behavioural Competencies - 

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior business and IT executives on technology decisions in a fast paced high growth environment.

- Ability to conceptualise and articulate technology solutions both to senior management and to the technical teams.

- Excellent leadership skills and ability to guide/mentor the technical and functional teams.

- Ability to supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.

- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions

- Complex problem solving skills and the ability to push innovation on solutions.

- Ability to work under pressure, manage expectations effectively and not get overwhelmed by pressures on team

- Distinct technology focus from a market standpoint and a quality mind-set

- Ability to manage own learning and contribute to functional knowledge building

- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings

- Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility for deliverables

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
