Senior Engineer - Process Planning - Heavy Industry Firm (10-15 yrs)

We are currently looking for a Sr. engineer role in Process Planning with a heavy Industry organization.

Role-Process Planning

Location- Gujarat

Education- BE/B.Tech

Report to - Head

Team Handling- No

KRA's :

1. Able to read and understand the engineering drawings.

2. Sequential process routing - Component level

3. Define workshop flows & STD time, lead time, time and motion study. Conducts ergonomics / human factors evaluation, recommending and implementing improvement in work area design adopting various Industrial Engineering Techniques

4. Reinforce continuous improvement activity (5S, Kaizen tools, 7W & VSM /Lean Sigma / Poka yoke etc.) using various IE techniques.

5. Able to do data management during creation of Routings in ERP.

6. Identify and suggest areas where Tools / Fixtures /Gauges / Test Rigs /work stations for the process of machining, assembly are required.

7. Interfacing with Design, Project Manager, Manufacturing & Quality for day to day technical queries

8. Coordinates for manufacture of fixture/ tools/ gauges/test rigs either in house or with external vendors. And conducts trials and proves out tools.

9. Prepare machining routing sheets / PFD (process flow diagrams). Assists production to establish and improve time standards for new and existing products.

10. Able to calculate and maintain capacity data for materials processing, people, space and equipment associated with production.

11. MIS Reporting

12. MDM - Material Data Master updating as per business needs

13. Must Know or calculate Over Plant efficiencies, Operation ratio, Labor efficiency, OEE.
