Job Summary :


The Senior Director, Revenue Services is responsible for overseeing the team to ensure proper management of their clients A/R in order to maximize the clients revenue. Accountable for their assigned clients success as measured against departmental metrics. Generally supports clients across multiple platforms and mix of client capacity based on specialty.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities :


- Monitor A/R for all assigned GRS clients which includes, but is not limited to, identifying areas for improvement applicable to the client, GRS platform(s), or outsource vendor; review action plans to address areas of concern with clients A/R


- Develop and execute work flow processes and focus on continuous improvement. Lead team to develop written processes for best practices.


- Work with automation team to identify opportunities to automate standard processes


- Work with Talent team to ensure resource levels are continually maintained to meet client service levels


- Lead team to ensure competencies necessary to be successful are in place for the team.


- Read and analyze financial reports and dashboards to ensure proper identification of A/R issues are being addressed


- Utilize KPI data to identify trends to focus on client retention, financial growth strategies and employee performance.


- Provide high level assistance to team members working a client's account as needed


- Review assigned clients KPI reports provided by Client Revenue Manager


- Assist with development of case studies highlighting outstanding achievements in revenue cycle management


- Works with Revenue Cycle Managers on client escalations using service-focused problem resolution


- Assist, train, and consult with other departments as needed


- Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attendance; perform counseling and disciplinary actions as needed; assist with staff development, including on-going mentoring and training


- Pursue continuing education of applicable software and hardware


- Keep current on payment trends and coding changes and payer requirement changes


- Participate in departmental and other meetings as requested


- Serve as Executive representative for Revenue Services in India


- Inform leaders of any at risk client issues


Minimum Qualifications :


- Seven to ten years current medical billing or revenue cycle experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and healthcare experience


- Minimum of ten years experience managing a team of 5+ Managers and above.


- Experience using medical billing software required
