Senior Director/Director - Data Architect - IT

Position : Director / Sr. Director : Data Architect

Job Location : Remote

What you'll do?

- Manage a growing team of 20+ members, including, data engineers, data architects and business intelligence developers - Own initiatives to streamline and templatize offerings

- Interface as the key expert with our critical accounts

- Work closely with the business head on key initiatives

- Architect and system design across all our projects

What you'll bring?

- Experience of 12+ years

- Experience of at least 4 years as a data architect, Hands on experience building data models in SQL (DBT preferred but not required)

- Hands on experience building star schema/snowflake schema

- Hands on experience with Dimensional and Fact modeling

- Experience with end-to-end delivery of data warehousing and reporting projects

- Hands on experience of at least 4 years writing code in python

- Experience writing data pipelines in python (singer.io/meltano preferred by not required)

- Experience working with multiple cloud databases like Snowflake, Big query or Postgres etc

- At least 1 project where the ELT methodology is followed

- Good to have experience building a lakehouse with either Snowflake or Bigqery or Athena

- Good to have hands on experience of 2 years with Tableau/Power BI

- Strong communication (verbal/written) skills; Experience interfacing with US clients

- Technological polyglot - experience working with Google Cloud Platform and one of AWS or Azure

- Strong Preference for candidates who have experience working with D2C clients or have having data experience in the D2C domain.
