Senior Director - Database Administration - Product Background - Captive Unit (17-25 yrs)
Our Client
- Captive unit of a global leader
Role
The person will manage a large team of DBA/Architects who work on our clients Product and Solutions. Please note Product background is a must and do not send profiles otherwise
- Deep knowledge and exposure managing large foot-print internet scale database systems (RDBMS and Big Data Systems)
- Work with Product Engineering and Solution Delivery Organization in strategizing implementation, operations and change management of 1000+ Databases both production and non-production
- Exemplary People Leadership skills managing a remote team of 100+ DBAs and Data Engineers
- Good thought leader, evangelist and tech specialist, someone the team would look up to as a role model
- Should be able to inspire, coach, guide and mentor a high performing team
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration and stakeholder relationship skills
- Will have Sr. Managers & Directors directly reporting to the role and be able to influence without authority
Person Profile
- Hands-on Technology Leader with 17+ yrs of Industry experience
- Preferably worked for a Global Product Company's India In-house Center (GIC) and have good exposure working in a global model
Experience in setting and meeting expectations for a leadership team in India and US
- Cross- Cultural Experience in US or Europe is a must
- Hands on leader who can create capacity vis-a-vis
