Senior Derivatives Technical Research Analyst - Indian Equity Market

Job Purpose :

- Generate trading ideas in Equity F&O markets in derivatives based on technical research and data analysis

- Analyze historical/current price data and generate research reports based on short-term market developments

Job Requirements :

Qualifications & Experience:

MBA (Finance), CMT (preferred)

NISM-Series-XV: Research Analyst Certification (Mandatory)

Certification such as PRM, FRM, QuantInsti etc is a plus

Work Experience - minimum 4 years

Technical skills:

- A profound understanding of Indian equity markets, Derivatives, Futures and Options

- Ability to think of trading strategies and be able to independently backtest the strategies

- Sound understanding of inter market analysis

- Sound knowledge of technical analysis software's like Tele Quote, Ticker Plant, IRIS (Spider).

- Quantitative finance knowledge

- Ability to research time-series data

- Knowledge of Bloomberg will be an add on.

- Knowledge of Python programming would be an added advantage

- Should be able to manage dynamic research updates and interface with clients.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and research in professional reports, as well as communicate with clients about recent price changes.

- Maintain a track record of recommendations provided

- Good technical report writing and communication skills

- Ensuring target achievement by maintaining 100% compliance

- Ability to train the sales team, dealers and clients

Soft skills :

- Strong Excel skills (VBA, Vlookup, Pivot Table etc)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

- A dynamic, aggressive and passionate personality

- Strong analytical and critical thinker
