Role Summary  As a Delivery Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for overall delivery of the program(s) / projects(s) including planning, managing, and implementing programs in support of organisation's business plans and goals.  The role will support the successful transition of an existing legacy Pensions Platform to an enhanced software solution, with a particular focus on designing the Web & Mobile solutions to support successful transition and migration to the new Platform.  The Delivery Manager leads multiple project team members that are assigned with a matrix management model and located in both India and Hong Kong including third party vendor resources.  Core Responsibility  Delivery Management  - Overall responsible for delivery of program  - Responsible for contracting, managing & tracking and closure of contracts with third party vendors.  - Develop detailed dependency plan for various streams within program(s)  - Track and manage program budget  - Conduct program meetings and be responsible for project tracking and an effective issue resolution process  - Work with multi-site project teams across time zones  - Ensure program deliverables meet/exceed the program sponsor's specified expectations  Program / Project Management oversight - Provide oversight to overall planning, scoping, tracking and governance to project manager(s).  Stakeholder Management - Engage and manage program stakeholders and communicate program status including senior stakeholders (CXO level) & Third party vendors  People Management  - Work with Program Head and Engagement leader for Resource planning, Recruitment strategy and execution across team  - Retention strategy across the team, Employee Engagement  - Performance management - Objective creation at team member level, Performance evaluation after interacting with stakeholders and normalization across teams  - Coaching and mentoring team; Identifying training needs and working with Learning & Development team to fill skill gaps  - Knowledge and Transition Management  Qualification  BE, B. Tech. or MBA (IT/Systems) from a reputed institute  - Experience working in a multi-site, multi-time zone environment  - Excellent verbal and written communications skills  - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to work effectively in a changing environment balancing operations and project delivery  - Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner  - Experience with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and Industry best practices and frameworks (like CMMI)  - Experience of program delivery of the order of USD 2mn  Industry Experience  - 13+ years of progressive information technology experience in application development, support and systems integration experience.  - Experience of product Implementation - preferably TCS BaNCS for Insurance  - Knowledge of the financial and insurance industries in particular Pensions would be an asset.  - Good knowledge of digital technologies in web and mobile like Hybrid app development, J2EE (Java, Struts, EJB, Web Services) with a good understanding of a wider technological landscape  Competencies  - Aware of the Software Development Life Cycle and Quality concepts  - PMP certified or demonstrated similar training and experience  - Strong leadership, planning, organizational and consulting skills  - Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Strong interpersonal skills  - Work in a matrix organization setup with dotted line reporting to various function heads across the geographies  - Exposure to work at overseas locations  - Strong proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS-Project)  - Strong knowledge of Information Technology tools, products, and trends  - Observe and suggest continuous improvements to the project management practice  - Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision, minimal direction and frequent interruptions  - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations  - Ability to manage senior stakeholders (CXO level)  - Ability to motivate and manage teams
