Sr Manager - Delivery Manager in Hi-Tech

Role: Delivery Management

Total Experience: 13+ Years

Primary Skills (must have):

- Project Mgt experience on a large scale (if possible working across countries)

- Experience in transition of new projects

- Strong focus on quality & compliance

- Excellent people Management

Responsibilities include:

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks/projects simultaneously

- Preferably worked as Manager / Senior Manager (or equivalent) managing Hi Tech Manufacturing Engineering processes

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking

- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professionals journals, technical
procedures or governmental regulations.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Senior Management and customers

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)

- Manage, control and direct staff to achieve KPIs for these Engineering processes

- Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction by managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.

- Ensure Best in Class Customer Service to all sites

- Coordinates with Sites to ensure smooth transitions and day to day operations

- Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.

- Handle a team of 100+ Engineers

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members

- Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions

- Handle escalations if any

- Drive Continuous Improvement of Engineering Process using Lean Six Sigma

- Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook

- Excellent Coaching & mentoring skills.

- Excellent Conflict resolution skills

- Reporting & Decision making skills
