Senior Data Scientist - Research/Analytics - KPO

Role is to liaison between business and analytical teams- needs to understand the business problem and the context, develop appropriate statistical solution and generate business insights from the solution

The role involves mentoring Decision Scientists.

- 5-10 years, with at least 2 years in advanced analytics doing complex models

- CPG experience preferred

- Good Experience in SQL and Python

- Hands-on experience building complex statistical models in some of the following :

- Multinomial logit

- Integrated forecasting using GLM / Mix Models

- Optimization using Simulated Annealing / Genetic Algorithms

- Different types of simulations and simulations software

- Cluster Analysis

- Proven skills in translating statistics into insights

- Experience in Pricing / Promotions strongly preferred

IT skills required :

- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python

- Advanced Excel

- Big data technologies like Hive, Spark etc
