Senior Data Scientist - Management Consulting Firm (12-18 yrs)
Senior Data Scientist:
This is an exciting opportunity for exceptional leaders to play a key role at for the Firm
- Role based in Bangalore will report into the Country Head of the Digital Practice and will have an opportunity to support in building and scaling the data science team for the firm.
The team would cater to clients across industry segments, both within India/ South Asia as well as across global clients.
- Enable clients with our consulting services leveraging data and analytics.
- Assist in devising practice strategy, drive GTM imperatives, engage client consultatively to help them devise data strategy, and coach junior colleagues
- Build data science capabilities, service offerings and partner strategy
- Evaluate, design and develop robust scalable models and deliver various data science based insights, outcomes and innovation based on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical models, to recommend and build solutions for key business problems
- Develop prototypes to drive faster, timely, precise, practical and proactive decision making based on data driven insights and shape execution strategies
- Work with internal and/or partner teams to ensure the models can be implemented as part of a proposed solution and can be scaled to multiple industries / markets
Required Qualifications:
- Proven data scientist with at least 12+ years of experience, in consulting/ fast-paced environments, preferably from Management Consulting, Big4 or with a large Global Consulting firms with focus in Digital technologies
- Strong domain experience in 2-3 industry domains highly desirable
- PhD / Masters / B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with over 12+ years of proven experience in Advanced Analytics / Machine Learning
- Must Be a builder/ owner, with strong intellectual curiosity
- Strong execution skills, while being able to contribute to strategy formulation
- Deep knowledge of fundamentals of machine learning, data mining and statistical modeling, and rich experience of application to real world problems
- Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, Text Mining, Deep Learning, Clustering, Unstructured Text Classification, Statistical Modelling, Sentiment Analysis, Behavioural Analysis
- Strong track record of driving and delivering analytics models and solutions
- Leverage data to develop insights, personas, data-driven models to drive decisions
- Proficient in in data visualization, quantitative analysis, verbal and written communication, and collaboration
- Experience in solutioning, building effort estimates and costing/ pricing, making presentations to CXOs and building / leading prototype development - independently or in a team
