Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning/Deep Learning Projects

Job Description: We are looking of a top notch Senior Data Scientist to lead some exciting and innovative Machine Learning/Deep Learning Projects. To qualify, you must be from a top tier engineering school, and must have excellent academic credentials. You should be a wizard in Stats, Predictive Modeling, Algorithms, and have hands on Programming skills. You will lead a team of data Scientists - but will be leading and inspiring them with your technical prowess. You should have a proven history of innovation and excellence - you would be joining a team of 9 people (all Ph.D's) that filed 18 patents in Data Science in 2015 alone. You will be rewarded well, and will work in a company well known for it's culture and innovation.

Technical Skills:

- Experience on any of the hadoop distribution - Pivotal, Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR etc. along with Pig, Hive/Hawq, Sqoop, Oozie etc.

- Experience on any one of the NoSQL databases - Hbase, Cassandra, Neo4j, MongoDB etc.

- Strong experience working with relational databases and SQL.

- Strong skills with data modeling/data science using R/Python.

- Extensive hands on UNIX/LINUX environment.

- Extensive hands on experience working with very large data sets and unstructured data, including data cleansing/transformation.

- Analyze complex data from various sources to build next-generation ML/NLP systems.

- Should have a good knowledge on data pipelining in both structured and unstructured data environments.

- Design optimal framework and architecture for capturing and analyzing data.

- Develop innovative solutions for parallelizing and optimizing analytical algorithms.

- Develop statistical models/machine learning algorithms to solve client specific business problems.
