Senior Data Analyst - HR & Organization Data (5-8 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities

The Role will perform data analysis on the HR and organization data. The person would be helping People Analytics team to develop predictive and prescriptive analytics. The person would be helping to fetch data from Oracle, SAP systems and creating queries to fetch periodic data.

The person would be performing Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Integrity on the fetched data as part of Master Data Management process.

The person would be doing EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) on the data to understand it better and fix underlying issues in the data, data capture mechanism and current processes.

The recommendations given will help in streamlining the process and systems. She/He will also be creating Power BI dashboards for stakeholders and see that they provide Value to the business.

The person would need to develop KPIs, their definitions and calculation. The analytics is required to provide business insights and help in taking workforce decisions.

Expertise in

- Data Analysis using Python.

- Experienced in Power BI.

- Exposure to OBIEE / Oracle reporting

- Working with Group and Business IT and HR teams, Shared Services team, vendors to identify business problems, formulate solutions to business problems and develop solutions.

- Develop analysis using ML/AI algorithms and embedding into forward looking products.

- Work with vendors to evaluate and verify their architecture and solutions. Evaluate the quality of AI in their solutions to provide feedback and improve the value derived from the solutions.

- Engage and advise the wider People Team on HR systems and Reporting, applying insights to make recommendations for new ways of working.

- Apply advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making (e.g., staffing, learning and development, talent management, diversity, and human resource compliance).

- Develop GCP infrastructure to provide insights and models for enterprise consumption .

- To regularly assess the quality and sufficiency of data elements to meet Organizations needs to develop insights.

- Assess and support data quality, data governance, areas of responsibility and security implementations.

- To take part in the ongoing HR analytics strategy and products to ensure successful rollouts.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or any other quantitative discipline

- Certification in Statistics / Data Analytics from reputed institute

- 5+ years of experience in Analytics

- Experience in SQL and Power BI

- Experience in building models using Python

- Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to interpret descriptive and inferential statistics,

- Proven expertise in the fields of machine learning / statistical modelling / complex data analysis

- Knowledge of HR Management Information Systems (MIS) is good to have

- Some basic knowledge of AWS or GCP in one of the Cloud frameworks is good to have
