Senior Data Analyst - eCommerce - IIT/NIT/BITS (2-6 yrs)

Hiring for the role of Sr. Data Analyst, for a leading fintech/ ecommerce company; headquartered in Bangalore.

Designation: Senior Data Analyst

Job Description:

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

- Work with management to prioritise business and information needs

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Filter and - clean- data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Experience:

- Work experience of 3+ years in an analytics firm

- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Qualifications/Desired Attributes:

- Education: Engineering or Mathematics degree from IITs/NITs/Tier-1 engineering colleges

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, et.c)

- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)

- High levels of motivation, energy & drive to ensure relevant goals are achieved

- Ability to work in dynamic environment with changing goal posts and responsibilities

Location: Bangalore
